He is the consensus best movie villain of all time.  Standing over 7 feet tall, the Darth Vader Star Wars Life-Size Figure would instantly make you the king of collectors if you have the means.  Vader is expected to ship in June of 2015.

Wave 4 has been rocky so far with the Luke Skywalker, Yoda and Toryn Farr figures have all disappointed to varying degrees.  Help us Snowtrooper Commander.  You’re our only hope.

Our own SithMan has reported that he found the Black Series 6” Stormtrooper at Target.  Most of the reports of 6” Stormtrooper sightings have come from Toys R Us and Disney Stores.  Target might be back in the fold.

I’m not going to link to any specific article as part of our pledge to keep this site spoiler free, but there are persistent rumors that Episode VII will introduce a previously unused story telling method to the Star Wars universe.  Flashback sequences may be used for the first time in a Star Wars movie.  Previously the back story was filled in only with narrative. 

As someone who grew up before the ubiquity of home movies, the oral back story in Star Wars made it more personal because, for most of us, that’s how we learned our own back story.  As Bill Brousard said, “How do you know who your daddy is? Because your mama told you so.”

The Official Site has confirmed the Walgreens exclusive 6” Boba Fett figure and it is the white prototype armor version.

The northeast, specifically metro-west Massachusetts, has joined the rest of the free world in misery with sightings of Mission Series wave 3.

I CAN’T WAIT!  Once again, this premieres on Saturday, July 26th at 9PM on the Disney Channel.

Kevin Smith is one of the patron saints of Bantha Skull (along with Paul Rudd, Jon Favreau, Alec Sulkin and a few others).  So we have to share that Kevin Smith was moved to tears on the shear awesomeness of the Episode VII set.

Under articulated I am.  When previewed, this figure had collectors anticipating the ultimate OT Yoda figure.  The final version is a far cry from that.  Click through to check out another disappointment.

Following up on yesterday’s train wreck, Toryn Farr is only a car wreck in comparison.  Once again accuracy in the paint application is an afterthought.  Click through for the photos and review.

There was a rumor swirling yesterday that J.J. Abrams and crew were scrambling with Episode VII rewrites to expand Oscar Isaac’s role in the wake of Harrison Ford’s injury.  I did not post it because it felt like a bit of internet style “connect-the-dottery” from a Gotham newspaper that has a reputation for not letting facts get in the way of a good story.  Low and behold, Disney has categorically denied this rumor.
